After meeting at Trish Wilson’s in Kirton Lindsey, we had a day of good weather (but cold) and good company, and great support at all the venues.
We managed to collect the cash sum of £705 on behalf to the British Heart Foundation, with another £15 being pledged by people wishing to contribute directly to BHF.
As we always say, the collection of money is a secondary aim, the primary aim being to perpetuate the tradition of the Plough Jag.
To this end we are seriously requiring new, younger, recruits. Please mention this to your friends and encourage anyone who is interested in joining us to contact me, Steve Hindley. Some interest was shown whilst we were on tour, which included asking when and where do we rehearse?. Well, I think that there will have to be some rehearsal in 2026 for us to continue with any performances in the future. More information to follow after further discussions with current/past cast members.
