Julia Pollock and Roberta Fulford put on a production called ‘Folk Round ’Ere’ on Friday 5th May at the Sir John Nelthorpe School in Brigg. This was a collaborative community project, unique to Brigg and the rural locality within North Lincolnshire, based on ‘Maypoles to Mistletoe’ by Martyn Wyndham-Read and Chris Brown that featured songs from the Sussex area.

The Coleby Plough Jag was asked to contribute a section of the play to the production. The cast members of the Jag for this performance were also cast members of the main production. The section of the play chosen was the last 6minutes of the play from the introduction of Dame Jane and Beelzebub which contains the most 'action'. As the Horse in this section is ‘the Doctor’s Donkey’ the brown horse costume was used, as has been when there have been enough people to use it in that roll, in addition to the regular white horse.

The segment of the Jag appears on the DVD of ‘Folk Round ’Ere’ and this has been aired on local TV channel - Estuary TV.

As part of the ongoing ‘Folk Round ’Ere’ project, the ‘Winter’ section from the original production was adapted and extended for performance as a Christmas Concert. This took place in St John's Church in Brigg. Again, the last 6 minutes of the play was used, with only the one alteration – Jim Hancock was Beelzebub instead of Dave Barlow.
